Alresford Parish Council is keen to participate in "Town and Country Planning" .The Neighbourhood plan project is underway as of April 2016. An application has been lodged with Tendring District Council for the Neighbourhood Area Designation......it is intended that the edge of the area will be the existing Parish boundary.
The first meeting of the Neighbourhood Plan Committee was held on 17th January 2017 and was well attended. One of the main items discussed wasthe formation of a steering group, if you or someone you know may be interested in being part of the steering group or would like to comment or would like more information please click on the link below for the comments form. The below links are to documents for the pre-submission consultation (Regulation 14) of Alresford's Neighbourhood Plan and the information from the surveys that were carried out prior. If you wish to submit comments on this draft please email them to the Parish Clerk at alresfordpc@outlook.com or in writing to FAO Parish Clerk, Alresford Parish Council, The Pavilion, Ford Lane, Alresford, CO7 8AT. The consultation period for this is 7 weeks from 15th October 2019 (cut-off point midnight on 3rd December 2019). Copies of the plan are available at either Alresford Post Office and Convenience Store in Station Road, Alresford or the Parish Council Office (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9.30am til 2.30pm), The Pavilion, Ford Lane, Alresford.
